Thank you for to giving to Emmanuel Fellowship. We are good stewards of what we have been given to further God's Kingdom. We serve an awesome generous God and all that we have belongs to Him. The Bible teaches us about tithing (giving the first 10% of our income to the church). Tithing puts God first in our lives and is an act of worship expressing our gratitude, faith and love for each other.
Scripture is full of many examples of why we give. As it relates to money and as a follower of Jesus.
We give because we recognize that "every good and perfect gift" is given to us by God (James 1:17) and our giving honors Him (Proverbs 3:9).
Scripture also says:
According to Jesus, it is better to give than receive (Acts 20:35)
Believers should give according to their income (I Corinthians 16:2)
When we give freely, we receive freely (Luke 6:38 & Proverbs 11:24)
Who Can Give?
Anyone is welcome to give. For those who are a part of the Body of Christ and call Emmanuel Fellowship their Church Home, we give because we love the Lord, desire to obey His commands and are committed to the Kingdom work of Emmanuel Fellowship.
What Can I Give?
Over the years, the Church has received gifts in a variety of forms, including: money, stocks, crops, automobiles and more. Please contact the Church Office if you are considering a non-cash gift.
How Do I Give?
If we give is a question of personal obedience, but how we give is a question of methodology. Scripture doesn't specify the “right way” to give (other than with a cheerful heart), therefore Emmanuel Fellowship accepts gifts made in a variety of ways. Most give when the Sunday morning offering is received. Others send a check in the mail. Online giving is another option.
