  • Chris Frith

    Lead pastor

    Chris and Lisa Frith have been married for 22 years and have 3 beautiful children:  Allison, Nicholas, and Grant.  As graduates of Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas, the Frith's had the privilege of devoting two decades of full time ministry to raising up the Next Generation.  Chris and Lisa have always carried a God-given dream to someday lead a Church.  In the summer of 2015 it became obvious this transition was on the horizon.  In the spring of 2016, the Frith's accepted the invitation to lead Emmanuel Fellowship.  Their passion is to build people and bridge the generations while strengthening the local church.

  • jermaine stewart

    associate pastor, student ministries

    Jermaine grew up in the small town of Winfield, Alabama. At eleven years of age, Jermaine responded to the gospel and surrendered his life to Jesus Christ.  From that moment, Jermaine's life was never the same. Shortly after his conversion, Jermaine begin to feel a call to ministry and immediately began sharing his faith with anyone who would listen. As a teenager, with the help of several other teen's, they started a student-led Bible study that greatly impacted their community and region.  During the years of leading the Bible study, Jermaine's passion for the Lord increased and he fully submitted to the call of God in his life.

    After graduating high school, Jermaine went on to attend college at Christ for the Nations Institute (CFNI) in Dallas, Texas. While preparing for a mission's trip (as a student at CFNI) to South Africa, Jermaine met his wife Deanna Stewart who was also a student at CFNI.  Jermaine and Deanna have a passion to empower students to do the work of the ministry while still in their youth. Jermaine has been in the ministry since 2002 and is honored to be part of the team at Emmanuel Fellowship. Jermaine and Deanna have three children; Alanah, Asher, and Alyssa.

  • Katie Wormley

    Worship leader

    Katie Wormley is a song writer and worship leader who was raised in the Chicago land area. Her parents are Pastors and musicians, so music and worship has always been a part of her life. Katie graduated from New Life School of Worship in Colorado Springs in 2007. She moved to New Mexico in 2008 where she met her husband Daylyn and was on staff as the worship leader at Faith Christian Family Church in Clovis, NM. More recently, Katie worked with her parents at River of Life Church in Aurora, IL as the worship leader and with Daylyn as the youth leader. Katie’s heart is for people to connect with who God is and to experience his presence in worship like never before. 

  • Kyla Reynolds

    children's ministry Coordinator

    Kyla was born and raised in Omaha, and despite some out-of-state "adventures" she has always had a deep love for Omaha and calls it home. The other deep love in her heart is working with children. It was in her own church nursery as a little girl where God began planting seeds in her heart for children, and He has continued to cultivate that seed and grow it into something she never thought possible. She has a passion to see children raised in the knowledge of the truth of God and His Word so that they can have a solid foundation of faith starting from an early age.

  • John Penry

    Facilities manager

    John was born and raised in Arlington, TX. At the age of 5, he felt called into ministry and has been serving in many different capacities of ministry since the age of 14. He is a graduate of Christ for the Nations and has a deep desire to serve the church in any capacity, demonstrating excellence through it all. John and his wife, Destiny, have been married since June of 2012 and have 3 children: Grayson, Landyn and Lily. After faithfully serving their home church in Texas for 2 years, they felt God calling them to relocate to Nebraska; they moved to Omaha in August of 2016.

    Hi my name is Rachel Kohls and I am 18 years old. I decided to take part in this 9-month internship because I can feel the calling of God on my life in ministry. God has given me a heart to serve others, just as he came not to be served but to serve others and give his life as a ransom for many. I am called to go out and be his hands and feet; to make disciples of all nations. Through this internship I believe that God is going to grow me spiritually and mold me in to who he has called me to be.

    Hello my name is Allison Frith! Being recently graduated from high school has me continually thinking of my future and what God has planned for me. Right now that plan includes me doing an awesome internship here at the church and preparing my heart for whatever is next! I am 18 years old and taking life day by day, choosing to enjoy every minute no matter how fast those minutes go by. It is in these moments of preparation and expectation that I am learning to increase my faith in God and the life He wants for me, which is so much better than what I could ever have planned for myself. I am excited for this season and those to come!
